• Unwaged £2.00
• Local Groups & Businesses £10.00

 

Our membership year runs from July to July. For anyone joining at any other time of the year, membership runs to the July of the next calendar year.

Applications for membership should be sent to the Membership Secretary.

The activities of the Society include Open Meetings on a variety of subjects, guided walks around the area, and discussions on planning matters. All these are free and everyone is welcome to attend.

The main way that the Society keeps members informed of events is via its Newsletter. This is produced 4 times a year and is delivered to members' doors free of charge. We are always anxious to keep costs down and use our own members to distribute to the majority of our members. We always welcome new distributors to lighten the load.

The Society also runs stalls at Myatts' Fields Fair, the Lambeth Country Show, the South London Local History Fair, and at Open Days run by the Lambeth Archives in Knatchbull Road. (Help to staff stalls always welcome!). A full range of our publications is on display at these events.

The Society holds regular Committee meetings to which all members are very welcome. We also hold Open Meetings with speakers on a wide variety of subjects. Everyone, including non-members, is welcome to attend these. Our meetings are held in the Vida Walsh Centre, 2b Saltoun Road, starting at 7.00pm. Committee Meetings are also held in the Vida Walsh Centre. Details of future meetings are contained in the diary.
