DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the Local Heroes initiative\, the 17 individually made textile squares of the Local Heroes  banner were made during Covid lockdowns by the Brixton Library craft group. For this event\, hosted by Friends of Tate Library Brixton\, Marilyn Rogers\, Annick Alet\, Rachel Heywood and Cecilia Washburn will present the making and meaning of the banner\, which will then go on to be displayed in local venues. \nThis event is hosted by Friends of Tate Brixton Library.
