Brixton Market Heritage Walk

A 90 minute walk around Brixton Market. The tour shows how shopping grew from nothing to make Brixton South London’s biggest shopping centre by the 1920s. The development of shopping was one of the key elements in the development of Brixton and a vital part of its history. We explore this development as we walk through the various markets and shopping areas. meeting point and walk details will be sent by e-mail to ticket holders before the walk.
