Heritage Walk – Myatt’s Fields and Fiveways

A local history walk around the Myatt’s Fields area, its Park and the Minet Estate through to Fiveways.

Join Brixton history experts Alan Piper and Tracey Gregory on a walk thought the perhaps less exposed parts of north Brixton on the Camberwell borders. Find out more about the emergence of the neighbourhood. What was here before the streets and green spaces were laid out; how the area has changed over more than 250 years; key people that have played a role including many women. The pubs, library, Longfield Hall and Myatt’s Field Park and more will all be featured.

One of the programme of Brixton Society walks throughout the year. The walks are all free. Donations welcome on the day.
