Atlantic Road has always been busy, as our Edwardian photo shows. It may at last be improved as Lambeth has been awarded money from Transport for London’s “Liveable Neighbourhoods” fund to transform Atlantic Road “putting people before traffic”. ()
On the other side of the railway, Brixton Station Road is set to get a facelift with a grant of £2.1m from the Mayor of London’s Good Growth Fund. ()
