Friends of Windrush Square (FoWS) and Friends of Tate Library Brixton (FoTLB) join forces to work around Windrush Square and the Library premises behind the railings. Our volunteers partake in useful workshops that include weeding; litter picking; maintaining planters; and the areas around the famous Brixton Plane Tree and the lovely oak trees by Saltoun Road at the southern end of the Square. Come and join us if you too wish to contribute to fun and very useful community activities; improving the environment in the centre of Brixton.
